Vince grew up in an Active Duty military family, which instilled a love for travel and a sense of duty to others. As an oldest brother of three boys, he was often the default responsible leader of the bunch. Early on, Vince developed a hobby of real estate and architecture - not particularly in any business sense - but enjoying sketching out 'dream homes'.
Allison grew up in a small town outside of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was always a top student, while also staying active in multiple extracurricular activities. As the daughter of a Financial Advisor, she built an early appreciation for financial stability and investing.
Vince and Allison met at a weekend church camp and started dating shortly after during their senior year of high school. They attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, where Vince earned a B.A. in Sociology and Allison a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing.
Vince now works full time as Vice President, Manager of Human Resources Data Analytics at Bank of the West, and Allison is a HR Operations Manager for Dish Network. They currently reside in Phoenix, AZ with their two children, Aiden and Aria, and a two year old Basenji, Blue.
When not in the office or procuring their next investment property, the family enjoys serving at their church, where Allison is part of the Worship Team, or hiking and camping with Cub Scouts, where Vince is a local Cubmaster.
'The Stack' is a term coined by Brandon Turner of Bigger Pockets which describes an investment approach where you start with a small but significant goal, like acquiring a duplex, and then double that every year.
We have embraced this method and realized the opportunities it provides. The next deal is always (approximately) only doing 2X what we've already done, and we continue to learn and build our networks, systems, and Teams along the journey.
We started with a duplex in 2020, acquired a fourplex in 2021, which would mean an 8 plex, or total of 14 units, in 2022. We instead opted to roll the equity from the two previous property into a 15 unit apartment building. This met our annual goal, increased cashflow, and net assets, while reducing overhead and liabilities.
We continue to stack properties and relationships, and are always looking to connect with like-minded investors!
